Processing Time Guarantees
For each speed below, Urgent Passport Services guarantees your passport will be completed within the stated number of business days — not including the day we receive your package. We must receive your application by 10:30am local time via FedEx or UPS.
"Completed" means processed within the guaranteed business days, counted from the day after we receive your package. Business days exclude weekends and federal holidays. To start your guaranteed clock, your application must arrive by 10:30am local time via FedEx or UPS.
Visa Services
When you order visa expediting from Urgent Passport, we process those visas through various consulates — and each consulate operates differently (the Chinese Consulate is very different from the Brazilian Consulate, for example). Consulates do not provide a guarantee on processing time or when a visa will be ready for pickup.
When we submit to a consulate, we're given a pickup slip with the date the visa is expected to be ready. About 70% of the time the visa is ready on that date; roughly 30% of the time we're told to return the next day. For this reason, we cannot guarantee visa processing times.
It's your responsibility to allow enough time for your visa to be processed and shipped back to you, understanding that consulates don't always meet their expected time frames — especially during busy periods. Our visa instructions provide the expected processing time; please allow a cushion between that time frame and your departure date.
Factors Out of Our Control
We cannot be held responsible for Acts of God, inclement weather, delays caused by your shipping carrier (FedEx or UPS), delays caused by application decisions and/or security holds by the Passport Agency, police or fire action that slows or shuts down any postal facility, shipping facility, or Passport Agency, or emergency capacity restrictions imposed on us by the Passport Agency or the U.S. Department of State.
We guarantee that we will inform you of any adverse conditions outside of our or your control. You can expect professional, courteous service at every point in the passport application process, and Urgent Passport Services will make every effort to get your passport to you within the time frame you chose.
If your application is suspended for any reason by the Passport Agency, you'll be notified as soon as humanly possible so you can get the necessary clearance materials to us. Prompt action on your part allows us to clear the suspension and ship your passport to you. You can always expect a straightforward answer to your questions — and if we don't know the answer, we'll make every effort to find it and get back to you as soon as possible. Please note: If you owe child support (in arrears), are wanted for arrest, are currently serving probation, are under order to appear in court (subpoena), or are wanted for extradition, your passport application will be denied and any monies paid to expedite your application will be forfeited.
