What You’ll Need to Gather
After ordering you’ll receive a detailed interactive checklist by email. Here’s a summary:

Complete the China visa (COVA) application on the Chinese Consulate website — print all 8–9 pages and sign the Confirmation Page and page 8

Valid U.S. passport with 6+ months of validity remaining and at least one blank visa page (original sent in; photocopy of photo/data page also required)

Color photocopy of valid photo ID — front and back (Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, or Passport)
4
Two new passport photos taken within 3 months — no hat or glasses; one scanned copy needed for online COVA form

Photocopy of your most recent China visa (if this is not your first China visa application)

Proof of round-trip travel: airline ticket confirmation AND hotel confirmation, both showing your name

Letter of invitation from your Chinese host company — on company letterhead, signed, and stamped with company seal

Business cover letter from your U.S. employer — on company letterhead, stating your position and purpose of visit

Completed Proof of Residence Form and China Visa Application Consent Form
