New Passports are for first time passport applicants age 16 or older, and also for adults that have had a passport before, but that passport expired over five years ago. If you need a new fast passport, begin here by printing the instructions.

New Passport: Is this what you need? Ask yourself these questions:

• Am I applying for a passport for the first time and I am 16 or older?
• Was my prior passport issued at age 15 or under?
• Was my prior passport issued more than 15 years ago?

If you answer yes to (any of) these questions, then please print instructions 1 and 2 below.

Part 2 – How to Complete:

• Go Past the privacy disclaimer – and click “Apply Online” on the following page
• Enter all information requested by State Department (red asterisk fields are required)
• “Summary of Fees” page (only check $60 Expedite Fee & Passport Book Fee) & click SUBMIT
• Next Page – Scroll to bottom and click CREATE FORM
• Your completed Passport Application form will open as a PDF document, PRINT IT OUT
